Glow Up Skin (App Store: “Skin Scan: GlowUp Beauty”) · Last updated: September 23, 2026

This policy explains what the Glow Up Skin iOS app (“the App”, “we”) does with your information. The short version: your face photos and scan results never leave your iPhone, there is no account, and we collect only anonymous usage analytics.

1. What stays on your device

2. What we collect: anonymous analytics

To understand which parts of the App work, the App sends usage events to PostHog (PostHog Inc., servers in the United States). Events include screens and steps reached, buttons used, whether a scan completed or failed, the number of findings, paywall views and purchases (product and outcome), and your onboarding choices for goal, skin concerns, effort and skincare habits.

Events are tied to a random identifier created by the App, not to your name, email, Apple ID or advertising identifier. We turn off IP-based location lookup. We never send photos, face data, scan images, your name, or whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

In Apple’s App Privacy terms this is: Product Interaction, Device ID, Purchase History and Other User Content, used for Analytics, not linked to you and not used for tracking.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The App checks your subscription status with Apple on your device.

4. What we don’t do

5. Retention and deletion

Everything on your device is removed when you delete the App. Analytics events are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Because they are linked only to a random ID, we generally cannot tell which events are yours. If you want us to try, email us and we will help.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data. Contact us at the address below. You can also stop all data collection by deleting the App.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Health information

The App offers cosmetic skincare guidance, not medical advice or diagnosis. Health-related answers, such as pregnancy, stay on your device and are used only to leave unsuitable ingredients out of your plan.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the App.
